I hate the fact that I am not assertive. I really do fucking hate it. I am a walk-over.
For the last 8 months I have been working for an agency. Since day 1 my national insurance number was wrong. I told them several times that it needed changing. I even sent my P45 in, and they returned it (presumably after they took a copy). I finished the job - And it is STILL fucking wrong.
Two weeks ago I went to claim Jobseekers Allowance. This morning I recieved a letter telling me that my claim has been refused due to insufficuent NI payments.
So I called the agency AGAIN. I told them to change the NI number, AGAIN. I am going to have Herself call up and sort it out.
Imagine if I were on my own - I'd have no money to live on until I found these ever-so fucking elusive JOBS.
Bastards. Wankers.
I'm sorry. I am hacked off with EVERYTHING.
ps, I love You.

I've been in a similar situation, as it turned out my employer ( who I had been temp for the last 9 months for) had not paid it to the correct NI... Guess who was my employer??- yeah you guessed right... I had all my payslips etc.. which did have the correct NI number on them... so gawd knows what they had done.. but JSA wouldn't accept them as there was a 'problem'. Even then, getting one Gov department to call another to request the paperwork was too much for them, so I made a few phone calls and managed in 3 days to get what was taking then 7 weeks to get internally! The agency said they would send a statement as 'proof' of what I'd been paying. Watch this space. Yes - hello we're back - and we're taking calls Now what was the question? |
