How come I missed this one???? Well I have been without a computer for a few weeks, having to use the internet on my aging phone has its limits. If and when there is another I will be up for a visit as I just live a stones throw away from the Near Boot.... Slaveboyant, until the spring of last year I was still living in the dark ages with an elderly desktop PC connected to a dial up modem that took ages to connect. Trying to download video clips was like reading War and Peace and it always seemed to pack in when you were sending an email. Going over to broadband was like changing from black and white to colour television( which I can still remember). Incidentally is there much of a scene in Carlisle as it is a growing city with quite a lot of outsiders moving in? I go to watch United once a month- now that has become a masochistic thing in itself- and a lot of fans seem to be from outside Cumbria. | |
