I tried to edit my last weblog but it wouldn't let me, kept saying server error.
Anyway,I was misinformed earlier, my brother in law was evidently bloody knackered when i spoke to him, bless him.
Just spoke to my sister, Leo has bacterial menacocal, not viral as we earlier thought. He's still very poorly in himself, temp up and down, vomitted all last night poor baby.
They now have to find the source, apparantly about 30% of us have this in our throat without it ever becoming a problem, but now and again we pass it on through kissing. So, everyone that has kissed Leo in a time frame yet to be determined will need testing and treatment given. They are giving antibiotics to the nursery kids anyway as a precautionary measure.
Because Leo was caught so early they feel that there will be no lasting damage done, but of course only time will tell that. They are letting him home for short periods but are not discharging him yet.
More results are due back later today or tomorrow which will tell how advanced the menacocal was and will determine a time frame to work to.
So, I need to ask again to keep those positive healing thoughts coming.
Thank you all so much.
