Firstly let me say thankyou to everyone that was kind enough to offer words of support and positive thoughts, it is truly appreciated.
Well, he had a fairly settled night, my sister stayed with him all night. His temperature keeps going up, so they give him stuff to bring it down, when it wears off it goes up again. First lot of results are back, all clear 
More tests were sent to Manchester for cultivating, apparantly if you test too early for meningitis it may not show up, but in Manchester they actually grow the specimen apparantly. That will be back tomorrow hopefully.
So please keep those positive thoughts coming, the little lad isn't out of the woods yet, his rising temperature is a bit worrying but he's on IV antibiotics so that should settle down soon.
