Used the tram to get home, saw a strange thing. There was a poster on the tram wall. It said something like "All I did was have a go at a gay, didn't think he'd call the police". There was a picture of a guy being handcuffed.
It was saying you're going to get arrested for verbally abusing a gay person. Verbal abuse. It just feels wierd.
Believe me, there's been times I've longed for a police person to come around the corner at just the right time but does this seem a move too far?. I don't know.
I wonder how long it would really take the police to respond to a call saying "this guy call me a queer"
Wasn't long ago when it would have been the police verbally abusing gay people.

It's one of those things that's illegal because the government wants people to not do it, but it's not like the prisons are suddenly going to be teeming with homophobes. Anybody who says truth is stranger than fiction has never seen tentacle porn. |
