In I998, I became a Pro-Domme and as I was living in Cambridge at the time and no one else was using the name Camilla, I became Mistress Camilla. Eventually I moved to Oxford in 2001 and kept my name as Camilla up ntil my website was updated for me by a dear sub of mine, now alas dead, and I became Mistress Keene. Keene is not my surname by the way, I just liked the idea of it sounding like keen, which of course, I am. Now when I was Mistress Camilla, back in 2004, I registered with UK-M. I never did have much luck with their site in terms of its ease of use and so stopped using it for a few months. I then asked, upon my return if I could change my name from Mistress Camilla to Mistress Keene. NO, couldn't be done. Now, I am effectively locked out of UK_M as my Mistress Camilla account which though technically available to me will not allow me to use any discussion board, add a classifies or in fact do anything and sometimes locks me out of my own account. I did manage a quick account change this morning. I have tried registering anew as Mistress Keene or variations on that but it keeps telling me that all those names are taken, even though they do not appear on the members list. I am at my wits end with UK-M. I have tried to contact the site owner and asked on more than one occasion for help but nothing has transpired. I know they have had historical difficulties with the site and its upkeep. I also know it is a free site and I am only complaining because I want the opportunity to play my part on that site. If I were in need of extra business, I would probably feel very pissed off that I was unable to promote myself like everyone else can. As it is, I just feel frustrated that I can't go on and interact my my fellow PDs and subs. I am constantly asked why I am not on there by my subs and so wonder if anyone has any ideas about how I can contact someone at UK-M who can actually help me. This has gone on for several years now and if I didn't know better I would think I just wasn't wanted on there. Has anyone else suffered these problems? I have tried several times to mail my details to add my website to the listings for 'Berks, Oxon and Bucks' and it always bounces back from the webmasters address. Any help would be appreciated? | |

UK-M is in the middle of a revamp. If you send your website addresses along with your area and any specifics (such as electrics, CBT etc)via memo to me, I'll make sure that you are added (or ammended) on the new site. As Lisal has said, pop him your membership details and we'll clear your membership for you. The UKM site went down a while ago and whilst we were able to save some membership details, others were unfortunately lost so you may indeed have to re register. I used to chat on UK Mistresses but being the loser that I am realised that I would never save up enough pennies so came back to chat on here instead  Happiness is a warm bum! |
