Yesterday i enjoyed some relaxed company with a friend. It kinda reminded me how my 'friendships' were when i was 19/20 particularly with guys. I haven't known this person for long, but there is most definitely a mental connection. He's a perve and a fantastic blacksmith. We just function well together in each other's company precisely because we know that we would never have a relationship.
He helped me sort out a few of Thomas' things that i still have here - and i have to be honest there are very few people i would trust and be comfortable with doing this for me. Then we ate and then flopped onto the sofa for endless chatter about life, the world and the universe. It's just so good being totally comfortable around someone for hugs and snuggles but knowing that there is nothing more to it.
Now i'm off to Stockholm for a few days. I need to make the most of my free-time now as i'm working good hours for the next six weeks.
