Erm, dear folk of IC, I have a slight worry.
After a rather splendid night out in Cardiff last night (and no, judge not by the location - I didn't have my shoes in one hand and chips and curry sauce in the other), and lashings of what appears to be the most indestructible stay-put pillarbox red lippy EVER, I'm still sat here with a mush that looks straight out of a porno or a 1940s film set, depending on how complimentary you're feeling.
I've tried Vaseline, Carmex, a toothbrush, make-up wipes, Chapstick, violent drunken rubbing of my mouth in the bathroom mirror - and still no success.
Anyone got any tips on how to go into work tomorrow looking semi-decent? Getting a bit concerned now...

It is! I was always dubious about those all day formulas, but Jesus Christ it's worked. Just a little too well... xxx "When you're going through hell, keep going."

Honestly. Glass-proof, social-kisses-on-cheeks-proof, drunken-missing-mouth-with-drink-proof...I could go on! "When you're going through hell, keep going."

I'm normally a fan of the foundation - lipstick - blot - lipstick technique, but I thought I'd go down the simple route, and I'm regretting it. I look like a sexed-up Pennywise. "When you're going through hell, keep going."

simples exfoliating wipes shift enough to make it a lip stain and not as garish.

A drop of baby or vegetable oil with a pinch of salt rubbed on & then left for a few mins then wiped off with a dry cloth

I use the Maybelline one too, and I use eye-makeup remover to get it off (ordinary wipes don't work, as you've discovered LOL) In emergencies, I've also removed it by putting a fresh layer of the same lipstick on and removing the whole lot with a tissue before it dries. judy |
