FBC wrote a blog saying why he had been timed out from posting on the main boards. You could just read that or you could ask him. I don't think admin should have to justify why someone was timed out to all and sundry everytime it happens. Never underestimate the stupidity of other people.

I have read the blog and the reason why I know about this timing out is because HE told me about it...but even he wasn't really sure about the reasons so I decided to open up this thread (while I still can) and ask what is ok to post and what isn't...I'm just a bit confused.

His blog states that it was because he posted inappropriate threads on the boards. Given that all boards have titles and descriptions, what is confusing you?

I'm pretty sure he would have been told himself by admin. I was told by admin the reason why I was timed out when it happened and anyone I know who has been timed out has also been told. Plus if he is posting off topic on the main board then it doesn't take a genius to work out why.

I have to say I've never spoke to anyone who has been timed out who didn't know before they posted something there was a very good chance they would be timed out for it and had made the decision that what they were posting was worth the chance
so someone not knowing what they were timed out for really really surprises me |
