Cross Keys used to be known as a gay bar many years ago - so maybe it is used to the likes of us! Why not give the Pump House a go tonight, report back and take it from there? The venue does not have to be set in stone and can always be changed.

Good luck with the munch tonight, if it happens.
It would be nice for Swansea to have a munch again....we used to love running the daytime one. The hardest part is finding the right venue...and you are bound to not please everyone. Don't forget there is a Carmarthen munch on a Wedensday...not too far really. Just wish we could make evening ones but work and commitments! i didn't make it down in the end had to go to the hospital. Had to stay for over 5hrs so didn't get home until after 11pm & still not happy. just told if things get worst just cal us back. F*cking arm implants! | |

A young Man we know tried to get a munch going in the 'Tug and Turbot' at the Swansea marina and although it did not take off as well as one would like, we did go and the pub seemed OK. Fairly quiet mid week.

yup anything is possible we're swansea folk when there's a well there a way. Think we should do a night we're we meetup and go look at the places we are thinking of and settle on which we like best. Pub hopping in the marina,lol. might be the best thing to do. | |

I've just about had enough of your constant digs. I let it ride last couple of times - turn the other cheek and all that, but enough is enough; what is your malfunction? just_pixie and i ran the swansea evening munch for over a year. we never missed one. with the exception of the first ever one where just one person turned up and never came again we know everyone who came to the munches and almost everyone came more than once - most people came to half a dozen plus. unless you came to the first munch with just her and i - you never came to any of the munches - certainly not with two other new people as you mentioned in a previous post. i've discussed this with several other people who used to go to the munch and no one knows who you are. you claim it was cliquey and no one talked to you? everyone talked to everyone at that munch, whether they were new or not. there was never any disputes or attitudes at the munch so what are you going on about? if you've got a personal problem with just_pixie or i, memo us - stop bad-mouthing the reputation of a short-lived but fun munch in public without being able to prove what you're talking about. so give it a fucking rest.
