Facilities: A good sized Dungeon (in stables), Heated/covered Swimming Pool, Jacuzzi, and beds!
Ok let's get this out of the way, HDZ is held at a swinging club. It's called AbFab.
The reason I have started with this is because usually if I've attended a “fetish night” at a swingers' club it's disappointing! The reason? Usually, it's full of swingers who have decided to dress in black and they jokingly have a spank before they start to fuck each other!! Ie. They just don't get it!
I have nothing against swingers. I like em, have been one, had fun and got lucky once or twice! And I will probably do some more swinging at some point too.
But…… I prefer BDSM.
It would seem that I am a bit of an old fashioned kinda BDSM bloke coz I don't like to mix the two in the public arena ie. I would prefer all sex to be behind doors rather than spank spank, flog flog, whip whip, cane cane, then finger, finger, “Oooo here comes the Magic wand” and squirt squirt!
As I say, call me old-fashioned.
Once again, I don't really have a problem with it, but I don't really have any desire to watch it. (Although, I am sure other people have said “Oh gawd he's getting his bloody whips out again!”)
Each to their own, eh?
Oh….. and why is it seemingly perfectly acceptable for a woman to quite literally can blow their load over the floor but guys can't have a wank? (Er, that's maybe for another Blog/Post or whatever!! Hahahaha)
Anyway, I was expecting HDZ to be exactly that. A load of swingers who didn't have a clue regarding the etiquette (with some taking the piss out of it all!), and certainly with no respect for what BDSM can and does mean for those who are “IN” the scene. But I was wrong! Unfortunately, there weren't tons of people there (it was a Sunday night after all!), but everyone attending seemed genuinely into BDSM in their own respective way, rather than the one dimensional perspective I was expecting. (Yes, I am talking about the fucking folks!)
It is for this reason that I will be more than happy to go back (and certainly will) and I am happy to recommend HDZ to others.
I met some lovely people, the party hosts were all very friendly (some were even sexy actually!) and I had a much better night than I thought I was going to have. I enjoyed myself.
Maybe a few more items of equipment wouldn't go amiss, but all they need now, to turn it into a really good night out is more people.
Having said that, some of the best times I have had at clubs have been when not many people turned up and there was tons of room and time to play, so it's win-win for me. More people often means more laughs. Less people often means more play (as long as I have someone to play with of course!)
What I do know is this. They are keen to make a real go of it and Mistress Paula will certainly listen to those attending regarding how improvements can be made. (AbFab always were good at listening to the feedback and I know HDZ will be aswell, coz I gave 'em me tuppence ha'penny worth and the music was changed from f*cking Enya all night to something more uplifting). A seven foot tall TV agreed with me that the music was depressing and we were told “It's a dungeon! It's supposed to be depressing!” LOL But they did put something better on (and No, it wasn't Step Inside Love by Cilla Black!).
So….. I give it a seven out of ten. I think more people will make it a better night and if I get to spank a girl this time rather than the guy I played with (a really nice bloke by the way) then it could easily have been an eight out of ten!
