46 years have past (to the day). To see myself here, now.
Someone at work had a stroke, girl who sat next to me (20 years old) said she was glad she wasn't there to see it cos she can't handle things like that. Life makes you see things like that, makes you see the horrible things, deal with the horrible things.
22 years ago (nearly to the day), I had to see my mom starve to death with a tumour that wouldn't let her digest food.
Life isn't a piece of (birthday) cake.
