Natacha Marro makes hands down the nicest shoes I've seen. Pricey, but my girl has a pair and swears they're the comfiest heels ever.

They're available from House of Harlot on Holloway Road if you fancy trying them on without the somewhat pretentious atmosphere of the Covent Garden boutique.

There are some shops around the Camden Market (eg at Camden Lock) that sell various fetishy shoes, lots of high heeled boots etc.

I would second camden.. i have purchased some right bargins from there of late.... boots and shoes for a fraction of what they are on line...

And after recently experiencing some shite from two on line fetish shoe sellers, i can highly recommend extremefootwear super fast delivery and they let you know when... bloody brillient....

I apologise for the duff reference. I'm afraid I'm badly out of date.

<snip> I think The Little Shoe Box might have been sold to a Californian and the London shop/workshop closed down? Or am I mistaken in thinking that? There is certainly another online footwear business trading under that name... possibly based in California? Selling nice enough stuff, but nothing like the original. And Little Shoe Box boots and shoes certainly fetch a small fortune on eBay these days. <snip>
Little Shoe box closed down about 4 years ago I think. Some/all of the stock was sold to DJ associated with bootlovers.com from what I heard which maybe where the 'californian' link is from.

Try http://www.pennangalan.co.uk/ in Slough or http://www.leatherworks.org.uk in Hackney for exstock stuff maybe. Is Terry de Havilland still there in the Stables Market, Camden or is that the bit that burnt down?

Yes. That all kinda fits. Thanks for confirming.

I had my first ever Little Shoes Box boots repaired by them around that time. They were about 10 years old at the time. They fixed them and when I went back to collect them, I spoke to the son of the owner who told me that his dad had retired and the sale of the business was just going through. I've not been back since so I wasn't sure.

Grrr, I have just broken the steel heel of the same boot! Don't ask!!

So thank you for the link to Leatherworks as I think they might be able to help me with a heel. The cobblers in Eversholt Street - in the link which I supplied for Rebecca - have said that they can repair my heel if I can buy a single heel ... as they are supplied in packs of 1,000 which they have no desire to buy!

I think that Terry de Havilland mainly sells through various stockists? I know that he does a collection for Poste Mistress which is sold at Office.

We ended up at Showgirls in Holloway Road today and they had a few ballet heels in stock, so if you just want to try for the feel, that might be worth a shot.
