Yipee!
For those of you who know me, I collect fine china; and for the last 5 or more years I have been collecting my tea set. One of the items I was missing and which is hard to find has been the teapot.
Finally, with a stroke of luck and some help from one of my partners I have a teapot! It's wonderful and beautiful and perfect!
And it's mine!!!

My Kettle is 19 years old, it leaks every now and then, and then the leak seals itself until the next leak. The plastic lid has melted over the years and falls off if not carefull. I have considered investing in a new Kettle and have seen one in Curry's that I like, but my faithfull old Kettle still boils water and I am very reluctant to buy new because my old Kettle still works. I need advice please.

Congratulations and how very Lady like and civilised, pouring the tea from your fine teapot while informing your slaves what is to become of them. Enjoy to the full. Behind Blue Eyes

Thank you that's exactly what I'm going to do! xxx To see a world in a grain of sand, And a heaven in a wild flower, Hold infinity in the palm of your hand, And eternity in an hour. (William Blake 'Auguries of Innocence')

Dear LadyMidnight, I will be coming round to your place for a cup of tea poured in a proper civilised manner from your marvellous and wonderful teapot. Can I bring all the other Munch mascots with me? Jones the Dragon can sit in your cage whilst we have tea and a whole load of chocolate biccies!!

Well put... It's always great to add things to collections that have been 'missing', especially when they are exquisite examples of excellent quality... I find such things as tea seem to taste nicer where an extra dose of refinement is involved, such as a proper tea set. Cheers |
