Where to live? (18)

LacednLicked's profile

Thats it I have had enough of the British winters causing me pain. I want to move to warmer climes.

I just don't know where.

Somewhere that I can get a job ok and so can hubby (who is an IT Manager).

Somewhere with plenty of English speakers (if not an English speakign country) as it will likely take a while to learn a new language.

With good education for my DD's.

With a good healthcare system.

Not in a war zone or an area likely to become one.

Oh damnit can someone just make the sun stay here all year please?

Sorry, had loads of places right up to the war zone bit. Spent some time working in Brazil and would not rush back but another place I would consider and had my eldest there for a while, she was the youngest at the time, is Singapore, very well educated people, not much crime and genuine nice people. May at some time in my life go back to live which may put you off!

New Zealand! That's where I want to be, loved it. Warm all year round on the north island. Lots of renewable energy and scope for much more, and a net exporter of food...

Why poison your liver when I could eat it for you?

australia or new zeland seem to match your criteria..... especially with the language bit.....

other than that. iuess its southern europe but thats a language change straight away. saying that i do know people living in spain who only speak bare esential spanish..... spain has never appealed in all honesty however.

southern france or evensouthern germany or austria have always appealed to me......

i do like bratwurst though lol x
