I've only tried the builder's breakfast ones - they were a bit insipid.

Somehow, I can't see chocolate crisps doing it for me...

Why ... what is the point in any of them??? I stopped at a motorway service station last night, starving and thought that a £15 bag of crisps (exaggerating a little!) was about the most affordable thing there.

Not being a regular crisp buyer, I was surprised to find my choice was 'chocolate and chilli' 'cajun squirrel' 'fish and chips' and 'builders breakfast'. I did try digging through the piles for something as traditional as 'cheese and onion' but there was nothing else.

In the end I went for 'builders breakfast' which in reality should be named 'slightly smoke damaged plastic'.

(My curmudgeonly rant next week will be bemoaning the loss of the 1/2p coin)

Fish and Chips were the worst ones, really greasy and nasty tasting.

I've only tried the chilli chocolate and onion bhaji ones but out of the two the onion bhaji crisps are a winner for me.
