I'm hoping I'm about to get a whole load of the good stuff coming my way.
I've got on with things with the minimum of moaning despite being injured. In a cab home on Saturday I found a nice, pretty new looking mobile on the back seat. I went through the phonebook and dialed who they had listed as home, spoke to a relative of the person whos phone it was and arranged for them to pick it up from the cab office.
Then tonight I was meant to go and see one of my favourite bands, The Cribs with Johnny Marr, yesterday I still couldn't walk very well so said to my housemate/best mate if she had someone who really wanted to go they could have my ticket. Well just my luck I woke up today and although a little uncomfy, it doesnt hurt to work. I rang my housemate/best mate and asked if she still had the ticket, she said she didn;t, she had offered it to our friend Max. She said she would call him and let him know I was having my ticket back. I put the phone down and went on facebook to check my mail, low and behold Max had said in his status how excited he was to be going tonight etc etc. I felt so bad I called back my housemate/best mate and told her not to say anything and let Max go in my place.
So here I am stuck at home knowing they're having a great time. The Cribs always put on a great show.
So come on Karma, I hope you have something good in store as I've had a whole load of shite luck of late.

Thank you, and have now just homed a homeless friend for a couple of days. Just call me Saint Hardy  Never underestimate the stupidity of other people. |
