Always had a 'soft-spot' for T-34's...

Anybody point me in the right direction?...

I think there is a T-34 at Bovingdon. However, if I remember correctly, 'soft spot' is hardly appropriate as there wasn't any seat padding for the driver. Can't remember which variant it was (2 man/ 3man turret, gun size/type). I think they also have other Soviet armour. It was a long time ago.

Maybe I jumped in 'too quick'...

I believe there's a T-34 right under my nose at the Imperial war museum in Manchester...

Although whether I get a chance to go in it is another story!..?

Anybody whose famous last words were
'Put that bloody light out'.. is a winner in my book!...

It's the T-34/85 (3 man turret, 85mm gun). They also have a KV-1 and an SU-100, although the latter is in Egyption colours IIRC.

If you love something, set it free. If it comes back to you, it is yours. If it does not, it was never meant to be.

My son has a 7 tonne tank , not WW2, a bit more modern if that's any help, but that too needs a low loader to cart it around, otherwise that too is 3 g.p.m.

There's s till a lot of preserved WW2 stuff near my caravan in the Ardennes and lots of forests to drive around in and trees to tie subs to...

There's a mate of mine on worldrubbermen site who has a few WW2 motors.

If anyone needs a London bus for their wedding or whatever, I can do those.

Does anyone on here own, or have access to, WW2 British vehicles at all they would be willing to 'loan' out?

I understand if you don't want to say.....but I just can't help asking why do you want to borrow a WW2 vehicle?
