Hi there, I collect the Gor series of books by John Norman, but quite a few of them are not readily available, so please, if you could help me out, condition irrelevant, I'd be your friend forever

heheh.. the most kinky thing we've got from our local freecycle group is a pair of thigh length boots my girl picked up.. unfortunately, they were waders! Perhaps we just have shy kinksters down here!

Managed to get a cage on mine. For some reason they're rather popular... Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt

Freecycle rules, I've got a sofa bed, a TV, weights and a clothes rail from it. As I was typing this I got a freecycle email for a 'Back Massager'.. ooer

There was somebody asking on our local site for women's shoes, size 10. I had a sneaking suspicion that if anybody offered, the woman would be unable to collect them personally and would send her husband to collect them. I think I might even be prepared to wager what his shoe size would have been too.

Weeeelll I must be crazy to post anything on Freecycle. All I ever seem to get when I have posted items on Freecycle (offered items), are a load of time wasters with questions that are answered if they bothered to read my whole posting. Or say they can collect the item on a date and time of their chosing, before I have said they could have the item. People who want me to phone their mobile to arrange a time they can collect. I even get stroppy people that want my address and phone number even before I have let them know they can have the item. It seems that most of the people who answer postings for items offered are tighter tightwads than the kid who has a jewish father and a scottish mother (you know, he wants to have a good time but doesn't want to pay for it). That is on the London freecycle.

hmmm.. I've not had 'crap' from Freecycle I have to admit! I HAVE had a dishwasher, in good working order, a playstation2, also fully working, with games, a conran designed coffee table, which admittedly needed a bit of tlc but is otherwise sound, a leather topped desk, a leather office chair, pc speaker, mouse, keyboard etc, fishing gear, even a 14ft trampoline with netting etc for the kids, hardly used! Oh and my girl managed to get in before me for the lovely distressed leather chesterfield sofa! damn her!! I have to say that just about everyone I have met through freecycle have been lovely people - not one rude person to be found so far.. and I'm glad that I managed to give some stuff a good home rather than letting it go to landfill.. Freecycle rocks! Edit: because I can't speak English!
