A couple of days ago someone (can't remember who put up a thread for something like a female strap on party with men as the " fucked". Along the lines of blowing away a stereo-type anyway....She mentioned in the post that some people may find it a bit exclusive but was'nt in the least bit worried.

Why can't we adopt the same attitude to this? Or is that just too challenging?

FYI

This thread was created due to polite suggestions given to the op that she start her own private party and thread rather than clog up the strap on private party thread with endless rants of discrimination and name calling.

So in fact if the attitude you describe above was used regarding the strap on party then this thread wouldnt have been created.

Never underestimate the stupidity of other people.

Cissexual is contained as a footnote.

Now, since you're both cis people, would you mind please keeping this thread clear for people to register an interest.

Or do you plan to spam this thread to death too?

As I said, hardly a common term if the only reference to it is a foot note in wikapedia.

So I will start a thread elsewhere to clarify. (Fat chance of that happening)

Sounded quite promising at first.

I've been quite heavily involved in the trans scene for about four or five years including being a fairly active (I like to think) volunteer for TransLiving. I have made quite a few friends who are TV, TS (both pre and post-op) and admirers.

However, I myself am not trans-anything. I don't even count myself as a TV. If the wind is blowing in the right direction I might stick on a maid outfit as a fetish activity.

It annoys me that the same people who would (rightly) raise the roof if they were turned away from somewhere for being trans are quite happy to discriminate against 'cis' people (whatever the hell that is).

Count me out.

How pretentious can you get? Who says that it is a " nice " or " preferred " way of saying something?

What's wrong with " man " or " woman ", for goodness sake?

Did you just make this up?

Cisgender, it's the nice and preferred way of saying not transgender. Cissexual, again nice and preferred way of saying not transsexual.

So it'd be open to anyone who is transgender, or transsexual. Non/pre/post-op, as long as you are not cisgender or cissexual you'd be welcome.

Just want to see who'd be interested, and maybe open it up to partners of attendees too if there is enough of a demand.

Just trying to get a rough estimate on how many would be interested, and we'll see where we go.

Jeeze you're so cisgender/cissexaul ist.

Yes, and honest about it from the get go. Want in, go date a trans person. :-p

Can you even *imagine* the backlash of starting a thread on here looking to organise a play party, but then telling any trans folk who posted on it that they weren't welcome because of their sexuality?

Just a thought, like.

RIGHT.....getting very annoyed here.....

DEFINITION = Note: Cissexual folks are sometimes called “natals.” And when speaking of natal women, you'll sometimes run across the term “GG” (genetic girl).

Maybe this will stop the confusion.....But CISsexual is still a very little know term.

As Pre-Op Transsexual women it does annoy us a lot when people try and confuse the issue even more than ordinary people can understand, we've only just been able to get them to understand TS and the difference to being TV .

Also unless you know about 20-30 PRE/POST TS then there is no point.....we already have a night for TV/TS/Partner/Admirers

Dudley Boudoir Dudley DY1 1RE For T-Girls & their Admirers on the 4th Friday of every month from 2pm - 12am. The Studios, 60 Wellington Road, Dudley, DY1 1RE. Car park at the rear.

Since it's been suggested more than a few times, I thought I'd ask, and see who'd want to come to a trans positive, trans only play party.

Please only respond if you would find such an event appealing, and are not cisgender/cissexaul.

To clarify, nothing arranged or planned yet, just trying to gauge if there is a demand for it.

Just wanted to wish you well with setting this up. I am not trans, but I can understand why some trans people may wish to party with other people who are also trans.

Just like the group of white people who'd like to relax without any 'darkies' around? Or the group of straight people who don't want any 'queers' or 'trannies' coming in their pub maybe?

Discrimination is discrimination is discrimination.
