I couldn't go to work yesterday, muchos snow in the garden on the car, in the road. No gritting no thaw.
It was lovely to see the kids playing in the snow, aand dogs frollicking. The cats weren't impressed though.
This morning the sun is out and the world looks gorgeous. I still cannot get out, the drive is uner 6-12 inches of show and kids have knocked half the snow off the car ( left in the road to make it easier to get out ( now there's a joke) their fun has left me even less able to move my car, Being Mrs creaky knees means i cannot use a shovel, as I need a walking stick at the moment.
Anyway I shall have to get out tomorrow, I have run out of essential supplies, mushrooms, ice cream and croissants, and I am anxious to keep normal life going.
cheering phone calls from MoK, friends and colleagues, make me feel better, and thank God for the computer. I feel as if my friends are here wiht me.
And now there is more #UKsnow falling, bugger, not mushroom for funghi in today's schedule then.

Why are there only snowmen and not snowwomen?
Because only men are stupid enough to stand out in the snow without a coat.
Tip of the day;- Never catch snowflakes with your tongue until all the birds have gone south for the winter. Always be POLITE, so that people know that you've been brought up well!!! |

The snow was a tad nasty round this neck of the woods but the valiant sublyn fought her way through the stuff to get to Castle Nimrod (aka The-ICM Towers) after work yesterday knowing there'd be sustenance, warmth, dry clothes and a cuddle or two awaiting. Then (because the ICM's that kind of Dom) this morning the ICM rose early, prepared the subby's shower, her breakfast and her lunch and then fired up the ice-clad jalopy and took the sweet subby person to work so she didn't risk getting injured on the 'North face of the Eiger'-like climb to where she works. Now that's what I call a Dom caring for his sub no matter what anyone may say. I won't even mention the 10 plus attempts I had to get back onto my driveway when I returned! Have you any idea how effective government censorship is?..... No?..... Effective isn't it ! |
