Braved the weather this morning... it wasn't too bad and I urgently needed some photocopies for my college work and to stock up at the supermarket in case the weather gets so awful that I can't get out.
When got home I went to open my car door and the whole door handle snapped and disintegrated; bits of plastic flying everywhere.
So now my car's at the garage (having clambered over from the passenger side to drive it there) and I can't go anywhere if I want to, which is probably a good thing considering the weather!
So I'm stranded here all alone 'cos J is working away in London this week 
Can't complain tho', He got made redundant at Christmas, but since then has won a great contract job and set up His own company. I couldn't be more proud of Him!! And having coped with 5 years long distance before we moved in together, that's standing us in good stead for His stints away now.
I have food, I have heating, I have wine and I have the love of the most amazing Man.
Yep, that'll keep me warm!!
