It's not 'could of' and 'would of', it's 'could have' and 'would have'. It's not 'there really cool', it's 'they're really cool'. It's not 'I was just to busy', it's 'I was just too busy'. It's not 'I no what u mean', it's 'I know what you mean'.
The list goes on, and it's not very often I pick people up on these, but fuckin' hell they annoy me! I read some posts and just fuckin' cringe with the lack of basic grammar. I know (no) no-one's perfect, and we all make mistakes (and I know someone will pick something up from this blog...meh!), but we all have pet hates, and these are mine.
Oh yeah, and those that confuse dose with does, and pacific with specific every time, really fuckin' annoy me to(o).
Here endeth the rant.
Hope you all had a good weekend ![]()

... and 'lay down' for 'lie down'; also 'loose' for 'lose'. But most of all, what we see time and time again on this site, 'ass' for 'arse'. |

As a fully paid up member of the grammar police I couldn't agree with you more. Some of the things I see make me cringe. I'm the one your mother warned you about |
