Suddenly the car becomes expensive (10)

Fridayschild's profile

Posted by Fridayschild on Sun 25 Jan 09, 7:22 PM to Fridayschild's blog.

Three miles from my destination, i think its an exit and end up smashing into a curb on a lay bye...at the miles an hour i was driving, the car flew for a bit. I thought o well.... I need two new wheels which will cost about 100 pounds and a tempory 'banging them into shape' this weekend 17.99. Whilst that was going on, i need new break pads...so, its beans on toast this month.

I fucking hate being a grown up, i hate responsability. I DON'T want to be a grown up!!!!! I don't like it and its not fair!!!! I'm sick of being fucking responsible for everything and everyone! It fucking shits me off how everything is on me constantly, uni work, child care, costs, cleaning, cooking, working who expect fuck loads for what i get paid. I plan a weekend of letting go and the back fire is huge.

Fucking twat.

And yet tomorrow i'll be at work and nothing will be mentioned, i will be another person again, in control fucking responsible, thoughtful, considerate. When i come home i will read because it is my only way out of this financial bind i am in.

One day i will have enough to save for a rainy day. Don't like it one bit this grown up shite...i want to be little all over again.

Have you tried this place? It's all the way in Stockholm, but it looks good :)

*hugs you*

That's a very generous suggestion; offering to pay the fees for such a break - at that hourly rate - very generous indeed! :-D

Ditch the car and use buses and trains. It takes longer but I'll tell you, not having to worry about paying for a lump of metal every month (let alone when it breaks down) is a huge extra bonus. And it's environmentally friendly :-D

Yeah sounds like a great idea if your a single person with no child responsability who is always meeting myself coming back in terms of time: uni, work, child, cleaning every fucking thing... Nice idea though ;)

Sell the children AND the car? <grins>

I did cleaning and uni and work etc all without a car, but I don't have children. Don't plan to have any from what I hear and see, either :-D

Yup I got a little car to get me to work, I paid 650 for it. 2 months later I paid just over 200 for a new clutch and just now have paid 350 to get it through its MOT.

As my mate said it was false economy I may have well paid more in the first place.
