In fairness to admin i think if someone gets a lifetime ban and then sets up a new profile and has to wait 7 days before they post there isn't much admin can do to stop someone repeatedly rejoining and reposting and getting banned again then setting up a new profile... i think sub contractor / weegierules / knickerless_nicolby / durty_dick all had lifetime bans but the expectation is a new profile will appear before long.

But you have been to the munch, you know it is fine there. Why are you punishing yourself because some people are arses in a totally different environment? Or, why are you trying to put people off a perfectly reasonable munch because you don't like people posting about it online?

I think the notion of staying away from a munch because of some bollocks someone writes on here gives creedence to the bollocks-writer and whatever drivel he/she come out with.

On the other hand a decent attendance at whatever munch he/she is badmouthing for their own petty little vendetta will have the opposite effect.

And starving the wind-up posts of the oxygen of publicity would also be productive.
