I was just wondering how many other people out there knew they were Dominant/submissive from a very young age. I have plenty of memories from the age of about 5 and 6 where i used to pretend i was being kidnapped and tied up or punished at school for being naughty and loads more that i thought of as an imaginitve child. Obviously you dont realise what it is at the time, it is just a child doing roleplaying. But as I've grown older I came to realise that it is all connected. This is why when people ask me "how did you get into bdsm?", I can't answer them. It has always just been a part of me, my personality, the way I am and I'm proud of it! | |

Mine were all about being tied up and restrained. I always wanted to be tied to trees, as if I were being tied to a mast, during games of pirates. (Never happened - school playground was sadly lacking in trees. Didn't stop me wishing though.) Likewise, being Princess Leia when we played "Star Wars" I was always hoping for some hot restraint action. Didn't care whether she was actually tied up in the films - it wasn't about her, it was about me me me! Both of those examples - I'm probably talking about the age of 8 or so. They weren't sexual thoughts, just something I really thought I'd enjoy. Something I almost 'needed', perhaps. So - I think that stuff is definitely hard-wired, if you like. Much more so than any kind of CP stuff, which I'd never thought about before actually starting to indulge. Which is why I still maintain I'm not a masochist.
As for submission - I didn't even know what it was called till I joined this website - it's just the way I am in relationships.

From at least the age of seven or eight I enjoyed getting tied up in roleplay games. I sometimes used to tie myself up, too. I do seem to have kept the same "Signal fantasies" all my life. |
