Happen to be free for weekend of Sat 24th / Sun 25th Jan, with a reason to celebrate (exams over) and also a nice occcasion to look forward to, and temporarily a bachelor (wife overseas for a long w/e). Amazingly, looking at the "Event Dates" link, there seem to be no Munches or events of any kind, not in Midlands or London, in fact nowhere at all. Strange when some weekends have loads of options. Is the calendar often this unbalanced?

Its because its the 5th weekend of the Month. Most events are held on the first 4 weekends of the month, but because the 5th isn't guaranteed, a regular munch etc isn't often held on it. Some places do have a regular 5th Weekend event- I think Kinky Kent do, and sometimes Caesars in Coventry, but that is the reason why! EABDSM | |

That would be a good reason, if it were true, but it's not - the 24th is the 4th weekend. This month has 4 1/2 weekends in it - it ends on a Saturday. | |

Ah - sorry De. I looked at the link in IC rather than think more broadly. For reasons of personal discretion it would be awkward for me to be involved, especially if press etc might take pics. (And as I'm relatively inexperienced, I might not be the best person to demo). But perhaps I could meet a relative in the daytime and later join kinksters for a drink? Not impossible...

TBH this sort of thing needs to be posted everywhere so that everyone hears about it! It's an Event (if not of the sort usually meant) and it is BDSM related so I don't see why it would be out of place on the list? | |
