Your first task (12)

I'll never forget it,cleaning a filthy brass candlestick (stripped naked and kneeling on the floor so not all bad ),my suggestion of dipping it in some cillicbang I'd bring round tommorow got short shrift and a toothbrush and cloth and brasso for the next two hours whilst Mistress watched telly. But the job I hated worst was cleaning out a fishtank which rats had been kept in for her snake (i'm genuinely phobic about snakes but fortunately she had none then),this thing had so many rat droppings in her adult son ran away retching (it was to heavy to carry down the garden alone),don't know how i managed it but somethings will stay with you for life
