Had lovely evening on Thursday, played a bit and ate a lot

On Saturday my Master took me to Bradford where we enjoyed an indian breakfast in a really nice restaurant...a lassi drink(kind of like a milkshake)and a selection of dishes to choose from including very sweet and savoury...was certainly different.
We looked around an old hall(Bolling Hall) which was interesting and then went to an arts place where Master couldnt resist the charms of a pretty young girl who painted his hand with a henna pattern...he thought it would wash off but was told he would be stuck with it for a good few days...ha ha ha. Then we went to an Indian cafe for a late lunch (Cafe Regal) where they sell cakes in a shop and do lovely food...we didnt know what to order and so when we caught sight of a dish being delivered to the table next to us we just said "one of those please"..we ended up with a really yummy indian mixed grill to share between us and it was sooooo nice.
On the way out we bought a few cakes to eat in the car....very sweet and saturated with honey and syrup(diet! what diet?). Next we drove over to a small town, Howarth, where we had a walk about in the freezing cold and called into a cafe for a coffee before having a look around the local church where most of the Bronte family are buried.
It was a lovely day spent in the company of my beloved Master and even though I was tired out when I finally got home I was sooo happy.
Going to my parents for an evening meal with Master on Thursday which will be really nice as they get on so well together...but i think for the rest of the week its gonna be salads for this slave ish !!!

That's all my old patch you've covered there! Go to the Sweet Centre on Lumb Lane next time you are in Bradford, for a curry experience to blow your earlobes inside out.

Yea, we found the Mumtaz but were too full up from our breakfast at Chowdreys to do justice to a full lucntime meal.

You think? I have to say - I have always found it a bit overrated, though they do do some rather impressive things with chickpeas. I used to live two houses away, in the old Post Office, and would wake to onions and raita on the doorstep regularly. On second thoughts, it was probably where I left it the night before... | |

Ammans or it might be Annams in Bradford is really good too, they do an amazing buffet or ala carte and the restaurant is beautiful- a big domed stained glass ceiling and a fish tank running through the whole floor with a bridge over the top. No colours or shapes | |
