I have been having a queen day in the car, while listening to them claim to not want to live for ever I was wondering if I wanted to?
After much head scratching, chin rubbing and painful cogitation, I decided:-
1 I do want to know what the end of this new milennium will be like.
2 I don't want to live that long, getting up for work every day, worrying about money, work, all the daily grind.
3 I want to do a Rip-Van-Winkle job.
i.e. sleep for 200 years, wake for a year or two, then sleep for 200 years etc.
Do any of you want to live for ever, if you do, what for, if not why not?
Hugs,
Irene.

Part of me would like to live forever as long as I was healthy and didn't have to worry about money....actually maybe not forever....maybe 1,000 years?
Why? So that I can see what happens....yes, I am ashamed to admit that I am just nosey

Not me I'll settle for whatever I'm given. Why cus I have it on very good authority that I'm not nosey enough. Live your life in such a way that when
Your feet hit the floor in the morning,
Satan shudders and says:
"Oh Shit! She's Awake!"

Not really, it has it's downside doesn't it? You'd have to see every single person you care and love die before you.
This is why Badger is spending a lot of time in a shed investigating time travel. Get to see the future as and when you want but still home in time for tea and cake If successful I'll post pics of the future on my profile for you, give it a week or two though before you bother checking, struggling to eek out the 'one point twenny one' gigawatts required from my neighbours 'lecy' supply without him knowing.

No, I don't want to live forever... I'll enjoy and endure what I have, all I ask is that I don't die in agony or with fear. I don't want to out-live those nearest and dearest to me, the heart-break would be too hard to bear. Oooo... feeling all emotional now!! "Truth is stranger than fiction."

So do I, but I would like to see if I'm prescient.
