Hello! I am looking for a set of low profile electrical leads from Paradise Electro Stimulation. They do not have any for sale on there site, and I have not yet had a reply as to when they shall have any back in stock.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Do they use proprietary connectors??

If not, could a 'Geek' (or an electronics expert) make a set for you?

I've memo'd this thread to an electronics whizz who visits here from time to time, in case he can help ....

Cheers, Badg1.

The clips do seem to be proprietary, but I see no reason that they couldn't be replaced with small insulated crocodile clips like these :-

http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=105...

the other end seems to be a standard 3.5mm plug, so I see no difficulty in making leads and having custom length ones.

http://www.maplin.co.uk/Search.aspx?menuno=12294

And cable like this should do the trick :-

http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=29&...

It would just need someone handy with a soldering iron to piece together, for good connection. :-D

Hope this is helpful.

Good idea about making my own, only the crocodile clips wont grasp the small nodule like pieces that protrude from the electric butt plug Im afraid, so I gave up and Im just looking to buy a set.

They look an awful lot like press studs used for clothing. If so, you could get some from a haberdashers, sand the finish off the wrong side, tin it, solder leads to it, and carefully apply tooldip.

Very much so. We have tried for years to source adaptors, but it all comes does to having them made. The are derived from connectors for ECG machines.

Some kit uses the anti static clip connectors - not cheap in small quantities, but here are a couple of links (you probably have them already, but, just in case....). These are from RS, Mouser or Digikey have them too, cheaper if you are bulking some other parts, otherwise carriage kills the deal.

The low-profile ECG stuff is not hard to get, but I need to check my original supplier is still doing small quantities.

Hope this helps.

If the lady wanting the cables wants to, she can Memo me to see about getting a set made up.

I wonder if this is the sort of lead with electrode you are looking for. This company sells accessories at reasonable prices.

Do you mean 0.080" pin receptacles? If so that's what your looking for and shouldn't have a problem finding them with the correct term.
