It was a good year, as ever (I guess it takes a lot to make a year bad for me) - moving into the new flat being the best thing, not getting a new job the worst.
Spent a lot of money on the new flat, luckily I have a fantastic family I can rely on sending me money when I need it most 
Bloodstock was another highlight, immensely enjoyed it.
Musically the year was a blast, with discovering Cybercide, Korpiklaani and Eluvetie and lots of fantastic folk bands/artists.
Another highlight was of course my sister falling pregnant - yesterday she felt the little Wuzi for the first time 
I'm so so so happy for her and can't wait to hold the little mite when she's had it!
Whitby and the Isle of Wight - two holidays I enjoyed a lot.
Didn't make as many friends as I usually do, but it's the quality that counts, not the quantity.
Didn't go out as much as I would have liked to, I blame it on London being too big and my inability to travel longer distances.
There were a few lowpoints, but they're for my LJ friends only.
The following I AM going to do next year:
- not to be so sarcastic all the time, seeing things more positive again, forcing myself not to be cynic
- not to spend money on too much makeup!
- save more money
- lose more weight by going regularly to the gym, 3-4x a week
- more sewing
- more going out/meeting people
- finding a girlfriend/female playpartner
- be more friendly to people that I have not much in common with
- stop being such a grump at times
so yes, in general - this year has been good. It could have been better, but you learn from your mistakes.

thanks, you too I didn't make it, though I really wanted too! Even took the next day off months beforehand... *grrr* ------ Come to the dark side - we have cookies! |
