I am happy that IC is up running again BUT..... I can NOT update my searchsettings. I remove "bottom" from the seach and it is still there everytime. I can't use the search at all. What do I do to update my settings ???? Slave George | |

Can you run through the exact steps you're using, with the exact name of each button/link you're clicking on, up to the point where you're not seeing what you expect. So, you go to your Interests Settings page and then ...? Thanks, Admin

Hmmm. I was chatting with a couple of people earlier, and as sometimes happens with the chat wossname on here I got booted off the site. Tried to log in again, but couldn't even call up the login thingy. The rest of the web seemed OK though. So I concluded the site had got tits upwards again, until someone on fetlife told me it was working fine! Had to re-boot modem, wifi and confuser before I could log in again. Weird! I will try: Your settings - Your interests - Your searchs include: I remove "being bottom" and I mark being dom" and "being top" No other markings in Your searchs include. Then I push button "update settings" Then I go to Main Page - More ads Under heading " are advertising their interest in ALL of..." "being Bottom" and "being dom" is on. "being dom" is OK as I have chosen that. BUT I did NOT chose "being bottom" which seems impossible to remove, get rid of. And "being top" as I also chose is NOT there. Then I go up under Want to find: 1. line: searching for: female and M2F 2. line: who are searching for: Male and F2M I hope this is understandable. The best I can do! Hope you can help me. Brilliant! That's exactly the kind of bug report we need It should work correctly for you now: the "More ads" link on the main page was still pointing to the old system, and that defaults to male bottom looking for female top (the largest category) if something goes wrong. Thank you for the nice words. I work with networks and computers myself! It works now. Thank you for the help even if I am a bit dissapointed by the few results from the search, fewer than in the old system, even if I have limetid my search to searching for "top" and "dom" and nothing else. Will I have more results if I elaborate my search, making more markings?? Thanks again Admin. I felt totally lost. Slave George |
