It's a real shame that male Doms aren't popular. If women paid for this kind o thing more often, there'd be an offer of gentlemen to choose from. Unfortunately, in this Catch-22 situation, all that a submissive woman can wish for is are couple of rather uncharismatic blokes who look like my neighbour Cedric, whom we suspected of stealing our knickers from the washing line. At least with pro-Dommes, you can protest about their proliferation, but this means there are ladies of all sorts, and for all tastes, from the auntie next door to the page 3 model.

If this is the case, then surely there is a market for Pro Doms in our community and there ought to be, in theory at least, a lucrative market for them.

Nope - cos ladies are looking to settle down in a long term relationship with that elusive dom not just pay good money for the odd session. I'm in a great relationship with a dominant couple cos I gave up looking for that dom as they have all just broken my heart or abused me, I'd still like to find him one day tho but with any walk of life all the good ones have already gone lol!

If a lady needs a session then there's dozens of guys on here who will oblige for free, it's only the few who wish to be discreet or can afford a session and wish it to be tailormade for them that will go to a pro.

As I said earlier I work with 2 male pro doms and they both get a vast majority of male clients and jahc agreed with the post too!

Even couples are not that plentiful,there again they can play around at home for very little expense.

One reply eluded to the gay community-here again,nearly all of my enquiries are from bi guys. I suppose it depends what a male PD is offering. One may be appeal to all tastes,another may be of interest only to a specific sector.

I have worked with sub females and i have one golden rule-work together as a team. Do not use or abuse them for your own pleasure.

Indeed. I've been single for over a year. I updated my profile on here fairly quickly after my circumstances changed even though I wasn't really looking at the time. That said, it's only been the last couple of months that I've actually had any genuine enquiries from male tops wanting to know if I'm still looking. There's been a raft of memos from blokes, though, with no pic, no network and no way of me or anyone else knowing if they are clean and safe and not looking to take advantage of someone.

Not everyone is looking for a LTR. I'm not. I spent over 13 years in 2 back-to-back LTRs with tops, one of whom I was married to. I'm quite happy being single at present. I would willingly have paid a pro-dom over the last year to have my needs met. Yes, there are dozens of blokes on here who will oblige for free, as you put it, but the vast majority of those known on the scene and known to be safe players are coupled up and probably not available. I'd rather pay under those circumstances than take my chances. And I'd also like to play in a proper kitted out dungeon space than in someone's front room or bedroom! And that's worth paying for, too.

It's also nigh on impossible to find a pro-dom. Yes, there's the lovely Jahc (who I've known online for quite a few years) and Sir Stephen in London. Both of whom I'd need to travel to for a session. I think Alex of Cobra Whips also pro-doms but I'm not sure. But he too is in London. There's no way of searching on here to find pro-doms. The mistress index is full of banners for dommes, and just the one for Sir Stephen. I have no idea if there are any working in my region and the only way to find out would be to look at individual profiles. Especially as if I was going to pay I'd want it to be someone who, like the 2 lovely above-mentioned chaps, are known on the scene.

As it is, after a very long drought I suddenly find myself playing with not 1 but 2 tops, the first of whom I met through non-bdsm circumstances but who is very skilled and experienced. But until I met these 2, I basically I had to go without. I would have loved to have been able to use a skilled and safe pro-dom in the interim. There is definitely a market out there. Perhaps the IC admin should look at tweaking the search facilities at least, but I'd also love it if more doms were to advertise pro sessions.
