The other one, of course, is not really advertising as such, and just waiting to be found. I am still in two minds about that. It does mean I can't give an honest estimation of the size of the actual demand, either. So it would be nice to hear from other pro blokies.

Going on a previous thread where a girl was asking a similar question and was also asking for those who did full sex she didn't get any replies either however did get a few memos and links from subs and dommes sending her in the right direction and she gave quite a few reports back on her findings.

The 2 I work with are both on IC but neither regularly post nor advertise themselves on here nor have pro profiles but if and when you do wish a sess I can easily put you in touch for ideas and rates.

Well we do seem to be a rare breed. So in the abscence of other contributors.....

I am sure that even if I put up a really hot website and advertised all over the place it wouldn't ever make me rich. It's only a viable thing for me to do because my partner is a professional dominatrix, so the dungeon is already there, fully equipped and running nicely anyway.

Though, having said that, before a session I spend quite a lot of time stashing the trappings of femdom and generally making as much space as possible. It's partly my individual style, being more about power and control than elaborate equipment, but when I have discussed that with my pro domme friends they say that all the gear is a big thing for their clients, much less so with mine, which is interesting in itself.

Regarding tributes, I mentioned earlier that I charge less per hour but do longer sessions - for two fold reasons. First, I like to use rope a lot and one of my specialities is high speed rope bondage, but to really get into it means giving people the time to find their own space in it. And to make more complex creations can take a while - need to explore the person's flexibility, strength and so on first, then get serisously into some edgey predicament work, or whatever suggests itself. The second reason is that women are complicated creatures, many buttons to push, twiddle and bite. I like to have the time to explore that at the pace that fits, not by watching the clock. So I don't mind if we over run rather, either, it is more important to me to deliver satisfaction than anything else.

Other contrasts to pro femdom? Well, I really don't regard it as a money making thing. The tribute is more a formalisation of the relationship, that it is a professional one, not a challenge to any existing relationship the client may have elsewhwere, but a time specially made for deviant delights, short of penetrative sex, of course. But I only do this because I have been asked to, both by the Mistresses in the various chambers where I have been teaching or building or photographing or whatever, and by some of the women on here.

Another contrast is that most who come to me are newbies, a term I really don't like - most have thought long and hard about it all and are really marvellous people to play with. But unlike the guys who seem to session with lots of PDs one after the other, or see one longterm, it is more often people who have had the kinky thoughts with them for a long time, and want to find out if they do actually like the reality of the fantasy. I provide a safe, emotionally uncomplicated way to experiment with that, to test it without any fall out. So if I can slap them on the bum and send them off with a big silly grin on their face and the confidence to include kink in their lives, knowing that they really do like it, I'll call that job done.

Other differences might include the fact that, touch wood, my clients always turn up!!

I don't Pro Dom but have been know to do voyeur sessions with a pro sub (I don't get paid, just do it for the enjoyment though SHE does get paid)

As for cost - don't know about anyone else, but my view is simply this - women generally take longer in vanilla life especially as it needs a lot more psychological work for anything (work he calls it!), so although I don't know yet, I'd personally agree with what jahc says above - hourly rate is cheaper, but session rate works out the same.

As for getting yourself known - I'd have thought that pro-dom needed a lot more word of mouth than pro-domme - the almost horror stories of doms who haven't a clue out there I'm actually quite glad there's not a big market of fake pro-doms out there... Maybe the pro-dommes have a club to beat fakes when they crawl out the woodwork

I'd make that 3 or more, maybe I'm being out of turn here but I know I would'nt pay to see a pro who'd only been a dom/domme for a year, I just don't think they'd have enough experience. I play with doms a lot being a pro sub and I enjoy showing them new tricks and tips but the majority who've only been playing a year or 2 would not have the experience to be able to dom just anyone who walked in the door and have a meaningful play session on their first time together. But then you could be an extremely fast learner you certainly have the enthusiasm for it, if you play a lot with subs in clubs and offer your services around as an amateur first it will give you the experince and reputation to turn pro eventually. The point though, is that for all my lifestyle experience, the mentorship of a highly skilled and experienced professional dominatrix was very valuable indeed, essential, even. As has been reading the contributions of many pro dommes on here and elsewhere. The differences between private personal perving and professional bdsm are many, and often both subtle and profound. Without that mentorship and support, I don't think I would have had the confidence or the insights to make it work.

Still find the professional stuff very demanding, and both amazingly exhilarating and exhausting. Absolutely love it, I am bouncing off the walls like a loon after a good session, but I have to take my hat off to those who can do it full time, I would just dissolve into a gibbering wreck!
