Just started to crochet the backing for a freeform crochet bag. I wasn't sure about the yarn colour at first (aqua) but now I can see how it looks crocheted... it's lovely. All soft and light reflective.
Our xmas cake has had another soaking with brandy and I'll be making the xmas puds on Sunday.
Have also developed a sudden interest in neck warmers and collars...

The last one reminds me of a Jacobean ruff. I might play with the pattern and see if I can come up with something to wear when I'm oot and aboot.

I haven't seen that mag no. Thanks for the link! I subscribe to Simply Knitting, and there's another mag coming out in the new year which looks worth a peek.
