Hello, I'm not sure if you'll understand me or not, as I'm from the north, but please bear with me...

I'm sick of nearly EVERYONE living in London and me not meeting more people I recognise off the boards n that off here.

So, which munch should I head to? It'd need to be fairly central so I could find it and would have to be a day affair, so I could either catch a train home, or go visit Londonian friends afterwards.

Enlighten me please and if you reccommend a fun munch that I end up coming to in January, I might just buy you a drink. That's a 'might' though. I am from Yorkshire. We don't part easily with cash.

well, the London Munch is the main munch, last Friday of every month (apart from Decembers) most are in the evening I'm affraid

And no, we don't. But we do go down hillsides in flat caps whilst holding ferrets and singing 'On Ilkley Moor B'hat 'At'.

Am off to venture down to the smoke myself next weekend with some fellow northerners - we've going to get our jabs first though - essential.

Well you cannot find a friendlier munch than the North East London Munch held in Stoke Newington. Next one on 19th December.

The January one will be on the 15th.

And brassman, the chap who runs it, is from Leeds, so he is bound to make a Yorkshire lass feel welcome.
