I do wish people would type properly. It's very difficult to seperate the 'can't type/speak' from the 'won't type/speak' properly's these days.

Usual boring disclaimer - I appreciate some people can't type/speak/read properly, and although I am refering to those people too, I acknowledge the fact that there is a difference between mentally/physically unable to the can't be arsed I left my brain at home when I went to school.

Is it only Yorkshire folk that type like this: 'ul b r8 m8 r saml c2thi.' ? Do people do this in other cities too? Or are Yorkshire teenagers' brains turning to mush?

Use spell checkers, don't let punctuation and grammar ruin whatever you took the time and cared enough to write - Writing gives a first impression... I certainly look for capitals, spaces after full stops, commas, spellings... I'm sure I'm not alone.

Foot note: I am not perfect, I do typo's. I don't expect others to be.

Yes, people do seem to type in text sometimes in Manchester, i don't understand it. It's like a new language you are 'supposed' to know lol.

The trouble with some women is that they get all excited about nothing and then they marry him.

Hear hear. Computers have full QWERTY keyboards and should be used. I refuse to converse with anyone typing text speak at me.

People concentrate too much on form over content. Unconventional presentation discourages that lack of focus in the reader.

Anyone with a brain is manipulable. Only the truly unimaginative are difficult to control.
