Yes. I had this done to me earlier. I have spoken to englishh and it was the same person. 'She' did seem very suspicious and pushy for certain information. I have since removed all information on how to contact me etc. so that something similar does not happen again. I just thought that it would be a good idea to warn people about this person. 'She' claims to be an experienced sub but is not a member of IC because it is full of 'creeps'. Don't really know why she went for me considering I'm not really a Dom. I have always seen myself as a careful internet user with my details but this whole thing, along with the thread, does unnerve me a bit. Life moves pretty fast, if you don't sit back once in a while you may miss it.

I've left mine in place, if I get any dodgy "additions" I think I may post the details, might put the b'stards off trying it on! Never ever accused of knowingly ever doing anything nice!

I think it makes an interesting change to see men being targeted by Internet wrong 'uns on this site rather than women. One step nearer to equality perhaps? Anybody who says truth is stranger than fiction has never seen tentacle porn.

For any new readers to this conversation wondering what on earth people are talking about, the article is reposted in full on my blog here:
http://www.informedconsent.co.uk/posts/215716/1#... just to save you giving the bastards any more hits to the page - they write this stuff because it's so popular, so let's not encourage them. and the original thread is here: http://www.informedconsent.co.uk/posts/217109/0 De ETA right now I'd really quite like to do hit on the Sun offices. I wonder if they could be reported on 26th January as I am certain they have published some and find it unlikely they'd know where to start as to getting rid of them.. oh and then there's all those photos of Sam Fox under 18.. VOTE FOR CAAN and help raise our profile:

on something of a tangent but still roughly connected to your bdsm community and wanting to be accepted by the general public as normal folk and not freaks ... is this what you really want or do you enjoy being on the fringes .. do you like to be seen as some kind of sub culture ... do you really want bdsm on the high street ... if so then surely the more people who are outed the more acceptable it will become ... i'm not saying its right to do such a thing and i'm sure andy mcnab has a point about people in positions of power being blackmailed !! .. but if they were out then there can be no blackmail .. unless of course they were married !! but isn't this the usual process ... the media expsosing people .. scandal .. shock ... how long ago was it when it was shocking to be gay ? all for one and fuck the rest

I'm shocked- shocked that someone working for the MOD and allegedly an expert in espionage, is such a fuckwit that they'd meet people into bdsm in their university work's canteen. Was he too stupid or too up his own arsehole to realise that meeting strangers on a university campus canteen would mean that any stranger he did meet could safely assume that he was either a student or that he worked there. I'm not even going into the chances of having a student or colleague walk past and using their birth/given name in front of someone that they didn't know. I'm glad he got outed. He is quite clearly unprofessional and he could stand as a object lesson in how NOT to go about meeting people from bdsm related web sites. As for his intelligence, well the less said about that the better. I wonder how much we pay these knobs to work for us. Nobody likes a smartarse. was it shocking or more shocking because he was married ! would it be shocking if it has been george michael ? my point is that its only news when it has a shock factor ... the more people are outed the less shocking it becomes ... its the path to acceptance ... there will be casualties .... so who really wants to be mainstream ... and who wants to remain in the shadows with your enigmatic reputations intact and feel that you are different to everyone else ... or will you join with the few who are prepared to stand up and not just blether about it on a website ! edit ... not a comment aimed specifically at you .. i just used your comment to reply to ! all for one and fuck the rest Edited 1 Dec 08, 4:34 PM by Lee_Van_Spunkenfrick

This is unjust; we live in a democracy, nobody should be persecuted for their sexuality, or for expressiion of their sexuality. Burns Night, Saturday 31st January, The Master Gunner, Finsbury Square

You're right that the more people who are out the more we will win acceptability, but I dispute that outing is the way to accomplish this. Different people have different circumstances and it is easier for some to be out than others - for some it would be mildly embarrassing, for others it would utterly destroy their lives. Depending on work and family situations of course. So a far better way forward IMO would be for those who are able to be as out as possible as they can be. The only situation in which I agree with outing is when the person is being hypocritical eg by being anti-BDSM in public whilst practising it in private. So if Martin Salter was found to have a stash of kinky porn I would shed no tears about him being exposed and would probably have a good laugh. But people on the scene who are just getting on with their lives and happen to have jobs where being exposed as a BDSMer would be devastating should not be put in that position.
