And how much dross did she have to wade through before hitting on someone vaguely newsworthy. She might have been on here for years.

Call me paranoid etc but I can't help thinking its a small bit of a coincidence that she just came a cross this guy from hanging out here.

It's a non-story.

Might cost the guy his job though... He should talk to Max and his scheme to help the outted.

And the reporter, if they do exist, should rot in hell.

Why poison your liver when I could eat it for you?

I love the comment from Andy McNab about the guys vulnerability to blackmail. On one had it's perfectly true, no two ways about it, any sort of scandalous behaviour poses a risk of blackmail to a person in his line of work, BUT to point this out in a tabloid news story about the guy sort of defeats the object of pointing it out. I mean it -would- constitute a risk of blackmail, except it's in the fucking newspaper. So now it's fine and they've sort of defeated their own argument.

The hypocrisy of it all sucks too. I mean that serving MI5 agent who stitched up Mosley was the Sun's best mate for what he did, yet he was infinitely more vulnerable, and was operating outside acceptable practices for his career, the whole time he did so. Ne'ry a peep out of the Sun about it.

Well, if the critically acclaimed author Andy Mcnab says it, it must be good 'gen'. :-p

Surely it's only blackmail material if you have an imperative to keep it secret, such as an unsuspecting wife (as per Max Mosely). It's not clear whether he's a cheat or not, and I presume that if he was, then the Sun would have picked up on that too.

Back to the article itself - He works with various categories of people, "some of whom are female". For fuck's sake - what does that have to do with anything?

It's implied that just because he likes to do various consensual things to women, he might just start jumping on his female colleagues and doing the same to them without consent. It begs the question, what about anyone else in the world who enjoys having penetrative sex with women? Should they be fired too, in case they forget that they need consent, and subsequently rape one of their female colleagues?

You make a good point. I mean fuck it, Andy McNab was involved in the non-consensual killing of a whole bunch of people, surely we can't let him near women either.

It's all so colossally retarded I can't wrap my head around it. As I said though the most disturbing thing of all is the depths that the gutter press are willing to lower themselves to for even a sniff of a story.

Anybody who says truth is stranger than fiction has never seen tentacle porn.

Oh and I know the guy in question has now deleted his profile, but I hope he joins again under a different name. It would be such a shame to have him scarred off from something I'm guessing he enjoys because of some ridiculously stupid and pointless stunt by those 'reporters'.

The guy named may well have an MM style case against them - but appears to have deleted from here already? Grrrrr.

More to the point: "He kept a rendezvous with an undercover Sun reporter in a canteen there, saying she was the fourth woman he had met through the site."

If said person exists and can be identified, well, banning is too good for them. But I wouldn't believe a word written in that sad rag.

I understood this to mean that the Sun reporter was posing as a subbie and that he was tricked.

If so poor guy.

Edited for clarity.

IS THERE AN UNDERCOVER FEMALE SUN REPORTER ON HERE?

I reckon there,s lots, from the glasgow herald to the lverpool echo......as long as it aint Switch-Bitch from glasgee......I really like her.......;)

I,ll never forget a face but in your case I,ll make an exception

Here we go again with The Scum, sister paper to the News of the Screws up to it's old tricks.

Sod the freedom of the press - reporters like these should, with their editors, be added to the list of those to be reckoned with when the good people rise up and take the world back from do gooders, stirrers, liars, troublemakers and those who would spy on us from our first piss & cough in the morning until we pull the duvet over our head at night.

This country is quickly becoming a bit like Nazi Germany between the wars - the only difference is that Gordon Brown is more like Stalin than Hitler and his henchmen wear suits instead of uniforms.

What gets me most is that they'll happily call this dude a pervert on page four and then on page 5 if discussing something like "how to spice up your love life" then bondage, whips and role playing is always top of their lists.

I wouldn't be too pissed off that they exposed people if they didn't jump over the fence all the time on the matter...

Pick a fucking side ya hypocritical pricks.

I still want my rock stars dead

Couple of things:
  • He had his email address visible on his profile page, so the contact could have just been that way.
  • He's not used IC much within the last couple of weeks, so any memos will have expired.

Therefore, we think it's unlikely we could identify any profile used to entrap him, even if we wanted to go digging around trying to identify who he knew (which we're extremely reluctant to do for obvious reasons.)

In previous cases along these lines, someone has gone to the press with a possible story, and they've then dug around and if necessary, set up entrapments. We doubt it would be worth their while trawling sites like IC in the hope of eventually discovering people prepared to disclose that they are "newsworthy".

And btw, the Sun story allows comments :)
