The boss and myself had a great night, meeting some new faces and some old friends. We're hoping to spend more time in Preston!!
The new venue is much more appropriate to a play party than the previous one; the play spaces are generally much better lit and the dungeon room feels more spacious. I also found a distinct improvement in the volume of the music. In the past we have found it difficult to hold conversations and have resorted to planning non-verbal signals instead of safewords in case of an emergency. The volume was such that last night even whispered commands and comments were audible (oh so clearly...) As a personal preference, I also like the music more

Good to see the effort Trojan-Steel is putting into Afterlife and I hope it is successful. We enjoyed the evening (didn't leave till 2.30), tho did find the dungeon a touch chilly on what was admittedly a very frosty night. Look forward to the extra play rooms when they come on board. There is palns to develop a further play room which work has already begun on this area and will be ready for use in the very near future. Our congratulations to Trojan Steel, Tinkerbell and the Afterlife crew on a very successful transition for the club in it's new venue.
Trojan can be very pleased at the support and turnout on Saturday night, in what was a well attended and friendly get together.
Some good old scene faces and a few newbies were in attendance at the Afterlife for it's first night in the
Courtyard Club venue, which proved to be much better suited than the first floor hall where it was previously held.
The separate areas do provide a more purposeful and intimate setting for the night and as Trojan say's that this should hopefully include the extra play space for next month.
We hope to see the succcess of the Afterlife continue and hope that more fetish folk will come and support this event througout 2009.

It was a really good night once it got going, the new venue is much better I think. Though that play room is a bit nippy, it has to be said. Other than that I had lots of fun. Thanks! D. | |
