Some things are just so good.
My daughters laptop broke. So it came to us to be looked at. It was not with us long enough to look at it before she bought herself a new one.
After a quick look at it, it was set up on a table which is between Hive and my desk, to see if it was ok. To test it Hive has it displaying random photos from out gallery of photos.
The photos are old family picturess that I have scanned into the computer, all the family digital photos we have taken over the years, the photos from all of our walking trips as well as the cartoons, jokes and pictures we have taken off the web that we like.
It is working fine except that the on/off button is not working. As the laptop is not needed any more it is now our permanent photo display. We find ourselves looking at it and enjoying the photos we had forgotten about and bringing back so many memories.
If anyone if looking for a Christmas gift for someone who spends time at their computer one of the digital photo frame things that does what the laptop is doing would be a great present. I would never have thought it, I thought they were a bit gimmicky but now having our photos being displayed I realise just what a great present they would be.
I love photos.
