Whilst in the shower I had a thought- I think people who make love with the lights out are weird. You see, it's not my kink. I like to see what I'm doing, the expression on my partner's face, the intensity of their gaze.
I don't like the light too bright- it can be distracting- and I just *know* that my wrinkles are more visible, but a good view of the proceedings, well, what can I say? <weg> In fact on the rare occasions when I've made love in the dark (can't sleep- what else do you do?!) it has definitely felt kinky!
Playing now, that's a different kettle of fish altogether. Blindfolds certainly have their place, especially in a public play space. It helps to keep me focused. And it keeps me guessing 
Such a simple thing, but making out in the dark- hey it's not my kink.

I think making love when you've just woken in the middle of the night and it's really dark...is astonishingly sexy. It's urgent and uncompromising and thrilling and feels wonderful. D/s stuff...I find easier in the light. God alone knows where I'd be dribbling candle wax if I couldn't see her properly.
