Two pieces of sort of good news to announce (about time I guess!).
Firstly, my new Psychiatrist has officially decided I have Borderline Personality Disorder, rather than everyone knowing and just talking about it, but not actually diagnosing and trying to treat it. It will make life harder in some sense as it is a very difficult diagnosis to have (in terms of other people's views), however it makes easier to start some sort of therapy treatment being referred with the right diagnosis rather than "a depressive illness". Although I am back on anti depressants for the short term to get me out of my current depressive few weeks I have been having.
So yep, I'm officially loopy but you all knew that anyway
The second part, I got news of today - the nerve tests for my arm are next Friday! Hurrah! Might finally get the details the Consultant needs to treat it. Even if it might mean an operation.
So, I'm a slightly relieved and cheered up, if in pain and stressed, Emma.

Yay! Glad things are starting to look up for you. Proper treatment for the BPD and nerve problems should improve things considerably.

Now you know officially what you have, you can move forward with the treatments. As you already knew what you had, being told is not a shock. I just hope that the treatments make a big difference for you.

She thinks so yes, as long as she can find the right therapist in our area. She said she was unsure what was currently available so was going to see who was available to refer me to. At least she was honest! You gave away the things You loved, and one of them was me
