Very excited right now as I am on a countdown to getting new ink!
I have been wanting a new tattoo for a while and now I have finally decided on a what and where. Ben from Gods of Ink is currently drawing it up for me to personalise it. I am having a Mehndi lower back piece which will over time grow fluidly up my spine and round my hips.
I wanted to have something to reflect my DD's too so have gone for a bridal style piece as its traditional in those to have the grooms name hidden into the design. I shall be having my daughters names hidden into mine once its all complete.
So if I am bouncing about like a loon at the munch its because I am high from being newly inked. If I'm looking a little fragile then equally its because I've had new ink then done an hours drive with my seat pressing on tender parts!

I have managed to get to the ripe old age of 32 years and 11 months without any tattoos.. however. I have thought about it now and again over the years, but always been like.. Nahh! The recent succession of television programmes on the subject, Miami Ink, London Ink, Ink wars.. has made me think about it seriously again.. and I would like to get some ink done. A single piece, I even know the design I want.. but it's a secret. SJ |
