Everyone knows that the US has a democratic black president now. But were you also aware of the other smaller debates raging around the country about gay marriage?

California's Prop 8 passed. See pictures here.

Florida's Ammendment 2 passed.

Arizona's Proposition 102 passed.

All three of those measures ban gay marriage, usually by stating that "marriage is between one man and one woman."

Arkansas, voted to ban unmarried or same-sex couples from adopting children or becoming foster parents.
