Because I am lucky to have an imbalance of hormones which allow me the luxury of migranes.

Oh yes, I'm a lucky one.

Well there's science for ya.

I haven't heard of that before. I suffer with migranes although only mild ones. I was however told i am in a high risk group for breast cancer because my mother had it. My sister is in a higher risk group but my brothers and i so we were told are in a high risk group as well.

Oh that is a thorny rose to be given! Do you have Zomig for migraines? I can reccomend it, if not ask you GP about getting some.

I read the report on this today too ~ a little positive news seeing as it was not that long ago that they announced in a similar "report" and findings that those who suffer migraines also are at an increased risk of heart attacks and strokes . . .

As it is having suffered from migraines since I was 11 they are absolutely crippling . . .so such "findings" do not make anything easier at all . . .

Here is a link to the report from this mornings MSN for those who maybe interested

Migraines Cut Breast Cancer Risk

They always seem to come up with something else... I am unsure it is anything more than coincidence more often than not myself. But we'll see.. they can only really do proper reports on people who have agreed to go on proper tests and evaulations throughout their entire lives to get a more accurate reading.
