They're letting fireworks off in one of the gardens that I can (just about) see from my office window - a bit early, surely?

And what about all the cats that are still out?

It's completely irresponsible and selfish. I'd happily see them banned apart from official displays.

I certainly agree with you on this one, it is a bit early - I stopped having Fireworks at home years ago because they frightened my cats so much.
