I managed to call in in the afternoon on my way back from Manchester, its about 35 miles from Manchester and 110 from Newcastle, so very accessible for a big area of the North. I think the venue is perfect, lovely size, nice seating, seperate bar/play/demo area, lovely staircase! Nice and warm and even the toilets were plenty and clean. Very impressed with the venue. The stalls were good and am thinking the venue could maybe hold a few more? The play area is a good size and those crosses were great! Its a great venue and I hope people start putting it on their calenders as without support of the community the North will lose the only event that combines a fair with a club with a Ball with a Demo. The admission fees are fair and reasonable. Oh and it had a really nice atmosphere and the demo by Excaliber was very good, its a good way for people to learn about different ways to play. Oh, I parked in the NCP multi-storey, which closes at 5.30! I got locked in!!! luckily the nice securtity man pulled the shutters up and let myself and another couple out.....and didnt even charge us to park, so parking is free!! Note to everyone, dont park there if you plan on staying late, I think we were lucky he let us out! A big congratulations to you both! I know people will agree you are a wonderful couple, for whom I treasure dearly! May I wish you every success and happiness for the future, in both a nilla and D/s sense. You've gone through a lot to get this far, and I know your relationship will just go from strength to strength. Thanks to all involved, we had a great time! A pity we had to leave slightly early but our driver was getting tired, and William Orbit - Barber's Adagio for Strings always gives me headsquirrels. Looking forward to the next one, just trying to work out how many guests we can drag along! | ||

We did want to make it, but after our wedding we really just ran out of steam by Sunday evening. Glad it went well, and look forward to seeing T&L at our party. Congratulations on what sounds like a great night. Will be there next month without fail!

Excuses, excuses!! Yes, Thanks again to T and L for all their hard work. So sorry I couldn't help out all day, but work stuff got in the way. As many have said, it is now the only decent club/fair oop north now, especially with the sudden demise of Decadence. As others have rightly said, if we don't use it, we'll lose it, and that would be a terrible thing for all of us. Let's all make an effort to support Kinkdom, and try and overcome the various unpleasant "outings" that have been occurring recently, and political sniping that has crept into what we all want to be able to enjoy freely.
