Samhain Words to the Dead (2)

Well, on the night of all souls day, the dead are the closest they will ever be, so I feel there ought to be something said at least, particularly with one person in mind who I miss dearly.

The problem is - where to start? I want to tell him all these silly things, like what he's missing, how well I'm doing at Uni, that I finally am managing to live by myself, and all these other little moments I would have liked him to share. But I still want to hear him say "I'm proud of you, pet", or just to say he cares or he's listening. That I'm worthwhile, that I'm loved.

But then I guess he knows and watches and I should know those things too? I do think he's watching. There are always little signs which at least remind me or give me some hope that he is.

So really there's only these few words left to say.

I Love You. I Miss You.

Simone and I are proud of you. We care and we're listening. You are more worthwhile than you will ever know and loved too. I know we're not Ken and never could be but we're proud to be your friends
